KARACHI: The fifth edition of HBL Pakistan Super League, 2020 has culminated with the Karachi Kings (KK) maiden title win by 5 wickets.
The KK sent Sharjeel and Babar on the crease for an easy chase. Babar’s stylish 63 runs knock helps KK to lift its maiden HBL PSL title. He showed his class with 7 stylish boundaries and made his fifty in 40 balls in the final. He declared man of the match. The KK chased the target with 8 balls in spare.
The final turned stirring when Haris took back to back wickets of Iftikhar and Rutherford in his last over.
Samit Patel took Sharjeel Khan who left the crease at 13 with two boundaries. Hales bowled out on Dilbar’s slower ball at 11.
Walton joined Babar at the score of 49. He played a sensible knock of 22 of 27 balls and got lbw on Dilbar’s Yorker.
