Sidharth Malhotra sends message for Pakistanis, Fawad Khan

Pakistani actor Fawad Khan has conquered hearts across the globe through his good looks and versatile acting. He became Bollywood heartthrob after he made his debut in ‘Khoobsurat’ and now that India has banned Pakistani actors in the Indian film industry, some of his industry friends still miss his presence.

Actor Sidharth Malhotra who got to work with Khan in ‘Kapoor and Sons’ has always showed his love for the Pakistani actor. And it happened again in the middle of an interview when the interviewer read out a Pakistani fan’s tweet to Sid.

Although he was initially overwhelmed by seeing the love coming from Pakistan but the minute he heard Pakistan, he couldn’t resist but say, “Fawad ko mera hi bolna [Give my regards to Fawad]," Bollywood Life reported.

When asked about the bond that he shares with Fawad today, he said, “We keep texting each other and yes, we are in touch but it has been a while since I met him.”

Meanwhile, Malhotra’s recently released movie ‘Aiyaary’ is getting mixed reviews from the audience. It is a film with a patriotic undertone, which reportedly led to the film not being able to obtain a no-objection certificate for release in Pakistan.
