President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Raja Parvez Ashraf chaired a meeting here on Wednesday to discuss the regional security situation, a handout said.
The meeting was attended, among others, by Federal Minister for Foreign Affairs Hina Rabbani Khar, Secretary-General to the President M Salman Faruqui, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Khalid Shameem Wynne, Foreign Secretary Jalil Abbas Jilani, Defence Secretary Nargis Sethi, Chief of Army Staff General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani, Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Muhammad Asif Sandila and Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Tahir Rafique Butt.
