Senior Civil Judge fined

The Administration Committee (AC) of the Lahore High Court (LHC) here Thursday imposed major penalty on a Senior Civil Judge (SCJ) Rana Muhammad Khan retired him compulsory. The final show-cause notices have also been issued to District and Session Judge Muhammad Musror Khan and Additional District and Sessions Judge (ADSJ) of Rajanpur Syed Ahsan Mahboobd Bukhari for imposition of major penalty.
The administration committee (AC) headed by Chief Justice Umar Ata Bandial held its meeting and took various steps in view of its business. The committee dropped disciplinary proceedings against AD&SJ Taunsa Sharif Muhammad Aslam, SCJ Sheikhupura Gulzar Ahmad Khalid, Civil Judge Layyah Jawwad Alam Qureshi and Civil Judge, Sambiral Khalid Yaqoob Warriach. The AC imposed minor penalty of Censure on AD&SJ Lahore Zubair Shahzad Kiyani and withholding of promotion for one year when it comes due on AD&SJ Jampur Sadaqat Ullah Khan.
