KARACHI: Gold on Wednesday maintained its upward trend as a result of an increase of Rs600 per tola on the local market, traders said.
The new increase of Rs600 in the precious metal price sailed it to Rs116600 per tola.
Price of gold per 10 grams also posted an increase of Rs515 to Rs99966 on the domestic market.
Gold was quoted trading for $1955 per ounce, up by $7 on the world market.
Silver was available for Rs1400 per tola; Rs1200.27 per 10 grams and $27.83 per ounce, traders said.
