LAHORE: The Met department has predicted a fresh spell of rain during the next 24 hours.
Cloudy weather kept hovering around the city on Wednesday. Temperature also remained low. Already, a heavy spell of torrential rain on Tuesday night intensified the level of fog on Wednesday morning. Earlier, intermittent rainfall had continued across the Punjab.
The fog had dispersed entire Punjab a day earlier due to the continuous rainfall, and motorway was opened for travel, blocked due to heavy fog earlier. The fog had also resulted into cancellation of several flights.
