KARACHI: On Tuesday, Pakistan Rupee exhibited mixed closings. It slightly fell against US Dollar in open market while gaining value for selling in open market. It gained value against Euro in open market while remaining unchanged against AED and SR.
INTER-BANK MARKET RATES: In the interbank market, Pakistan Rupee lost 5 paisas for both buying and selling against USD over yesterday's rates closing at 160.30 and 160.40 respectively.
OPEN MARKET RATES: In the open market, PKR remained unchanged for buying while gaining 5 paisas for selling over yesterday's rates closing at 160.20 and 160.35 respectively.
Against Euro, PKR gained 50 paisas for both buying and selling closing at 193.50 and 195 respectively.
Against UAE Dirham, PKR remained unchanged for both buying and selling closing at 43.55 and 43.75 respectively.
Against Saudi Riyal, PKR remained unchanged for both buying and selling as well closing at 42.45 and 42.60 respectively.

RUPEE IN LAHORE: The Pak rupee marginally recovered on the buying side while it depreciated its worth on the selling side in relation to the greenback in the local currency market on Tuesday.
Following divergent buyer's spree, the greenback moved both ways and closed for buying and selling at Rs 160.20 and Rs 161.50 against the overnight closing rate of Rs 160.25 and Rs 161.00 respectively, local currency dealers said.
Furthermore, the national currency failed to sustain its day earlier recoveries as it depreciated its worth versus the pound sterling. As a result, the pound's buying and selling rates rose from Monday's closing of Rs 215.00 and Rs 216.80 to Rs 216.20 and Rs 217.50 respectively, they added.
RUPEE IN ISLAMABAD AND RAWALPINDI: The dollar gained 10 paisas against the rupee at the open currency markets of Islamabad and Rawalpindi here on Tuesday.
The dollar opened at Rs160.90(buying) and Rs 161(selling) against last rate of Rs160.80(buying) and Rs 160.90(selling).
It closed at Rs160.90(buying) and Rs 161(selling).
The buying and selling rates of one tola of gold was Rs. 112,200 (selling) and Rs112,000(buying) at the local Sarafa (gold) markets of twin cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi.
