CHICAGO: Chicago Board of Trade corn futures weakened on Friday as traders took risk off the table following the market’s rally to a 7-1/2-year high on Wednesday.
The most-active corn futures contract, which posted a weekly gain of 7.1%, has risen for six weeks in a row, its longest winning streak since the spring of 2016.
Private exporters reported the sale of 110,000 tonnes of corn to Mexico for delivery in the 2020/21 marketing year, the US Agriculture Department said on Friday.
