National Highways and Motorway Police (NH&MP) recovered a stolen trailer-truck here on Tuesday. Unidentified robbers snatched a trailer-truck carrying goods worth Rs 05 million from the Northern Bypass. On receiving information, NH&MP started vigil on the highway. They spotted it and signalled it to stop.
However, the accused tried to race the vehicle away. They were chased and finally the criminals parked the truck at a darkened spot and fled. Police recovered the trailer loaded with goods worth Rs 05million. They also recovered Rs 32000 cash, two cell phones and important papers which were handed over to Gadap police along with the vehicle.
