Punjab's Labour Minister Haji Ehsanuddin Qureshi has said that Punjab Employees Social Security Institution (PESSI) was providing best treatment facilities, even out of country, to registered workers and family members. He told that $7,500 had been approved for liver transplant in India for the mother of a worker, Khuram Shahzad of Ghani Glass Limited.
The Minister said that Rs 3.8 million had also been approved for the liver transplantation in India for the mother of Qaisar Saeed a registered worker of M/S Education Services (Pvt) Ltd.
