The office-bearers, ticket-holders and former Nazims, belonging to Pakistan Peoples Party, Sargodha, called on the President of Pakistan Muslim League-N, Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and announced to join PML-N. They expressed their complete trust in his dynamic leadership.
Those who joined PML-N were included: former candidate of PPP from NA-67, Sargodha, Dr Zulfiqar Ali Bhatti, former Tehsil Nazim and District Vice President Raja Waqar Mehdi, Member District Council and Vice President PPP Afzal Siyal, Nazim Union Council Tahir Javed, City Nazim Bhagtanwala Altaf Hussain Munda, Nazim Union Council Ahmed Sher Awan, Nazim Union Council Malik Imtiaz Nisowana, Nazim Union Council Afzal Hussain Bhobak, Nazim Union Council Raja Rehan Mehdi, Vice Chairman Market Committee Mubashar Sulehriya and Chairman Union Council Haji Nazir Chadhar. President Pakistan Muslim League-N, Sargodha, Shahnawaz Ranjha, MNA Shafqat Baloch and other leaders were also present on the occasion.
While joining PML-N, the leaders of PPP said that the dynamic leadership of Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and the national agenda of PML-N aimed at bringing democratic values, progress and prosperity to Pakistan is the need of the hour and the fulfilment of this agenda would result in true realisation of national aspirations. They pointed out that they are joining PML-N in order to positively utilize their energies towards betterment and uplift of Pakistan.
Welcoming those joining PML-N, Muhammad Nawaz Sharif said that the people of Pakistan have all qualities and capabilities to transform failures into successes, at the national level. He said that it is a fact of the history that Pakistan has always achieved rapid and expeditious progress, under the democratic rule of people's chosen representatives. Nawaz Sharif said that he is vigorously striving to unify the whole nation, so that the attitude of hatred is transformed into love, chaos is eliminated through unity.
Nawaz said that the real aim of a progressive and prosperous Pakistan can be achieved by eradicating scourge of load shedding, unemployment and lawlessness. Former General Secretary PP-55 Chaudhry Yasir Hussain King Advocate also announced to join PML-N on the occasion, and expressed his complete trust in the inspiring leadership of Nawaz Sharif.-PR
