Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs) on Wednesday claimed to have arrested an alleged member of banned outfit Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) after brief encounter at Kunwari Colony, Manghopir. According to officials, the police party on a tip-off conducted raid at the said place and after brief encounter, they had successfully nabbed an alleged member of outlawed TTP from Kunwari Colony with heavy weapons.
The suspect, who was identified as Nazeerullah Mehsud, during initial course of investigation confessed to have killed two persons including CID man Khan Mohammad. Police said the accused person was nominated in several cases of extortion in Manghopir area. Further investigation was underway.
