Lahore College for Women University (LCWU) introduced four new courses and departments as new session of admission will commence on Monday 30th July 2012 with the admissions of intermediate F.A/F.Sc. University has setup intermediate college to supervise the academic issues of intermediate. Yasmin Ali has been appointed the first Principal of Intermediate College, Lahore College for Women University.
Admissions for undergraduate and postgraduate classes will start next month. Vice-Chancellor Dr Sabiha Mansoor said that syndicate has approved to start department of Architecture, Administrative Sciences, Textile and Interior Design and Department of Chinese from this year. She added that admission in F.A/F.Sc will be conducted in six different disciplines, ie, F.Sc (Pre-Medical), F.Sc (Pre-Engineering), I.C.S (Physics & Economics group) I.Com and General Science. The admissions will be offered on open merit, however, the candidates willing to take Fine Arts and English Literature will have to take entrance test. The seats have been reserved for sports, disable, hafiza, FATA, foreign students and other provinces.
