Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf has convened parliamentary party meeting of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Punjab on 2nd of August. According to details, Prime Minister has decided to hold meeting of the PPP Punjab parliamentary party at the State Guest House where he is likely to disclose future roadmap of the party ahead of general elections.
The PPP is likely to face tough competition both from the PML-N and the PTI in upcoming general elections. Therefore, the PPP high command is fully focused on the Punjab politics. President Asif Ali Zardari has also recently claimed of having next government in all provinces including Punjab. The party sources said that the Prime Minister will also take the PPP Punjab parliamentary party members into confidence over the steps taken by the federal government in overcoming the load shedding.
