The Deputy Commissioner Hyderabad in its on-going campaign against profiteers and ensure availability of essential commodities of daily use on fixed rates, paid surprise visits in city Hyderabad, Latifabad, Qasimabad and Hyderabad Taluka and fined 21 shopkeepers for over charging and recovered an amount of Rs 15,300 as fine from them. The D.C. Hyderabad has warned the shopkeepers to refrain for overcharging and also put lists of the prices at conspicuous places.
