Chairman Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC), Former Justice Rana Bhagwandas called on President Asif Ali Zardari here at the Aiwan-e-Sadr on Thursday and presented Annual Report of the commission for the year 2011. The report presented today said that for CSS Competitive Examination 2010, out of 7759 candidates who appeared in the exams, 628 candidates finally qualified and 205 of them were allocated to various services.
In 2011, 786 candidates out of the appearing 13071 qualified and 239 were allocated to various groups/services. The report said that in 2012, some 10,066 candidates have appeared in CSS examination against 14335 applications. It said besides CSS Competitive examination, the commission continues general recruitment throughout the year for technical/professional positions. In 2011, it said, 890 candidates were recommended for various appointments against the available positions in the Federal Government.
