Indian Army’s unprovoked firing along the Line of Control (LoC) has martyred a teenage boy on Friday.

In a statement, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) has said that due to India's unprovoked and targeted firing, 19-year-old Inzamam has embraced martyrdom. Inzamam was carrying out routine work at a crush plant at Poonch river bank in his Tetrinote village when he came under the target of Indian firing.

The ISPR statement further reads, "Pakistan Army troops target Indian army post which initiated fire on civil population.''

On February 19, Indian firing had claimed the life of Ayan, an eight-year-old boy of Jajot village along LoC. Earlier in February, India had targeted a school van in Battal sector. The van driver had embraced shahadat.

This unprecedented escalation in ceasefire violations by India is continuing from the year 2017 when the Indian forces committed more than 1,970 ceasefire violations.
