LAHORE: The Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) and Jahangir Badar Institute of Vision and Leadership have inked a Memorandum of Understanding to set a meaningful partnership for the cause of trade, industry and economic development of the country.
LCCI President Mian Tariq Misbah and JBIVL Chairman Zulfikar Ali Badar signed the memorandum on behalf of their respective organizations.
Under the memorandum, both the organizations will arrange joint training and development programmes for youth and aspiring entrepreneurs, political leaders, government officials, managers, company directors and diplomatic staff etc. The LCCI and JBIVL will also conduct research on business, social, economic, political and international relations issues.
LCCI President Mian Tariq Misbah said the MoU between the two organizations is a significant step in bringing the institutions and trade, industry together. The economic challenges being faced by the country need tailor-made and workable solutions and this is only possible through strong linkages between industry and institutions, he said. The MoU will help in finding new solutions of the issues being faced by the trade, industry and economy, he added.
