A few changes were seen on wholesale grain and seed market on Saturday as most of the commodity items retained overnight levels in process of trading, dealers said. On the cereal side gur, low type gained Rs 200 to Rs 4400 and best quality was sharply higher by Rs 1000 to Rs 6000 and khandsari followed same pattern, gaining Rs 200 to Rs 5700, they said
On the grams counter yellow pas Canada low quality was up by Rs 100 to Rs 4350 and better quality posted fresh gain of Rs 150 to Rs 4500, other items maintained last levels due to balanced demand and supply position, they said. On the rice sector Irri-6 Sindh low type was higher by Rs 25 to Rs 3400 and the good type was up by Rs 50 to Rs 3500, they said. On the seed side cottonseed oilcake with bag Sindh shed Rs 50 to Rs 400-700 amid persistent rise in supply, they added.
