LAHORE: The Board of Revenue (BoR) Punjab has taken immediate action against the illegal occupation of government land at Mouza Murree Sakni, Measles No. 392, Murree Tehsil, Rawalpindi and reclaimed 12 kanals and 5 marlas of valuable government land worth Rs 120 million.
The structures on government land have been demolished besides registration of the case against the illegal occupants, the Senior Member Board of Revenue Babar Hayat Tarar, said.
In a statement, the SMBR said the actions have been intensified to retrieve government lands from illegal occupants. He said the historic operation against the qabza mafia was being carried out with great success.
