ISLAMABAD: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa stressed operational preparedness along the Line of Control (LOC)/Working Boundary and the Pak-Afghan international border in the wake of evolving geo-strategic milieu. The army chief stated this, while chairs two-day-long 78th Formation Commanders' Conference.
According to the military media wing, the COAS also expressed satisfaction over the progress of the stabilisation operations across Pakistan following the successes of Operation Raddul Fasaad.
The conference was attended by corps commanders, principal staff officers and all formation commanders of Pakistan Army. Participants were briefed on prevalent geo-strategic environment, challenges to the national security and own strategy in response to evolving threat, according to the ISPR statement.
