Taiwan shares rose 0.33 percent on Wednesday, tracking stock markets in the region, with flat panel maker Chimei Innolux hittting the upper limit on news its second-quarter losses had improved from a year ago. The main TAIEX index added 24.34 points to 7,319.80 to close at its highest level in one month, with automobile and glasses sectors 3.8 percent and 1.1 percent higher, respectively. Chimei soared 7 percent, the most allowed in a session. AU rose 6.2 percent. The Taiwan dollar was flat at T$29.965.
