ISLAMABAD: Finance Minister Shaukat Tarin Monday said ‘Kamyab Pakistan Programme’ is being launched that offers multitude of opportunities including small loans for business, farmers, households, health cards and technical training under the programme.
The finance minister was chairing a meeting of ‘Kamyab Pakistan Programme’, which was attended by Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Finance and Revenue, the SAPM on Youth Affairs Usman Dar, Secretary Finance, Chairman Naya Pakistan Housing Development Authority (NAPHDA), President, Bank of Punjab, Chairman HBL, Executive Director Akhuwat, and SEVP National Bank of Pakistan.
The finance minister stated that the prime minister has a vision to transform Pakistan into a truly welfare state.
He further stated that the prime minister wanted to uplift the living standards of the underprivileged people in the country.
To achieve this objective, the government is following a multi-pronged strategy.
The deserving people of the country are being supported through a cash transfer programme.
