ISE index down by 5.91 points

Bears dominated the proceedings on the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) where equities showed negative signs under the lead of hot favourite amid decrease in index. ISE Ten Index was down by 5.91 points as the ISE Ten Index moved from 2,937.13 to 2,931.22 points. The overall turnover amounted to 13,700 shares as compared to previous turnover of 145,600 shares.
Total 97 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (48) closed in negative territory, 49 landed in plus column and zero company remained pegged to its overnight levels. The volume of Maple Leaf Cement was 10,000 shares. The volume of Fatima Fertiliser Co was 1,700 shares. The volume of PTCL was 1,000shares.
