KARACHI/JAKARTA: Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) and Trade & Investment Wing, Jakarta organised a virtual interactive session with 12 top and prominent dates/fruit importers of Indonesia on October 06.
Almost all leading dates' exporters and processors of Pakistan participated in the interactive session.
Establishing effective trade ties, connections at both sides and encouraging the Indonesian dates' buyers to start sourcing from Pakistan were the main objectives of the session.
Muhammad Hassan, Ambassador of Pakistan to Indonesia welcomed all the participants and urged both sides to cooperate for promotion of Pakistani dates in the world's fifth largest dates importing market of Indonesia.
Fouzia P Chaudhry, Minister Trade & Investment, Jakarta presented a comprehensive presentation and provided essential guidelines to Pakistani exporters about the dates' market in Indonesia.
Mir Mohsin Bulllo, Product Officer-Dates, TDAP, underlined important features of Pakistani dates for the information of Indonesian buyers. The introduction of dates' importers and exporters from both sides was held during the session. The importers of Indonesia were keenly interested in importing Pakistani dates in near future.
