ISLAMABAD: Telenor Pakistan launched 4G services in Azad Jammu and Kashmir, which will enable access to the benefits to online services such as e-education, e-health, e-governance, ride hailing, and food ordering apps, besides enhanced connectivity.
Telenor Pakistan acquired additional spectrum in the AJ&K and GB through the spectrum auction, adding 16.2 MHz to its overall spectrum holdings in the region.
This will enable Telenor Pakistan to further expand and develop its already strong footprint in the region through its voice and data services, said Telenor Pakistan spokesperson.
Irfan Wahab Khan, CEO Telenor Pakistan, Cecilie Blydt Heuch, EVP and Chief People and Sustainability Officer, Telenor Group, senior officials of the organization and representatives from media attended the ceremony.

Telenor Pakistan recently acquired 16.2 MHz spectrum in the auction held in September 2021; making it the largest spectrum holder in AJK and GB. Network rollout and enhancement has started in the region.
