There is a need to establish a welfare society based on economic justice where no one needed alms and charity to survive, leader of Pakistan Muslim League-N Nawaz Sharif said in his Eid message on Sunday. Highlighting the blessings of Ramazan, he said that people should realise the problems of less privileged and continue the spirit of Ramazan during the remaining months of the year.
Expressing concern, Nawaz Sharif said that Pakistan was facing multiple challenges on domestic and international fronts, adding that the situation was compounded by targeted killings being carried out on the basis of ethnicity, linguistic and sectarianism in various areas.
According to him, persistently following the Constitution was the only way to tackle all problems besides ensuring the continuity of the democratic system. He warned that any so-called operation would cause further damage.
