Businessmen Group Chairman and former president KCCI Siraj Kassam Teli and President Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mian Abrar Ahmad on Thursday appreciated the government decision to suspend cellular services in Karachi and other major cities of the country to avert terrorist activities during Eid.
They also welcomed the decision of the Interior Ministry to stop prepaid cellular services in order to ensure genuine identities of subscribers/users. They said that mobile phones were used in over 80 percent of criminal activities, therefore, the decision must be effectively implemented without any further delay.-PR
