The sixth meeting of AHAN (Aik Hunar Aik Nagar) Board of Directors was held on August 15, at a hotel in Lahore under the Chairpersonship of Samina Khawar Hayat. The Board formally approved and confirmed the decisions taken in the fifth meeting of the BoD. Secretary Production Gul Mohammad Rind and CEO AHAN/PIDC Khalid Mehmood Chadda were also present.
The Board considered various options to further improve the operations of the Company. It was decided that new partnership opportunities would be explored. A detailed work plan would be prepared to promote handmade products of Pakistan through international fairs and exhibitions. Rizwan Beyg, a board member will be requested to co-ordinate in this connection. The Chairperson directed to prepare a plan for board members' visit to all AHAN regions.-PR
