FAISALABAD: With the full cooperation of the federal and Punjab governments, a new era of industrial development will begin. Construction of Expo Center in Faisalabad will open new avenues of economic development. The interest of foreign investors will increase. New income opportunities will be created. Faisalabad, the city of Manchester in Pakistan, will be known all over the world.
These views were expressed by Chairman FIEDMC Zafar Iqbal Sarwar while presiding over a meeting of the Board of Directors of Faisalabad Industrial Estate Development and Management Company (FIEDMC).
Deputy Commissioner Faisalabad Ali Shehzad, President Chamber Atif Munir Sheikh, Chairman (PHMA) Mian Kashif Zia, Chairman (PTEA) Sohail Pasha, Secretary General (PTEA) Azizullah Goheer, while Syed Zia Alamdar Hussain, Shehzad Azam Khan, Khurram Mukhtar and Farrukh Zaman participated in the meeting as zoom in camera.
Various suggestions were considered in the meeting and after consultation on the interviews conducted by the candidates for the vacant post of CEO in FIEDMC, 3 Names were finalized and sent to the Punjab Government.
Briefing about the meeting with Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar in Lahore, Chairman FIEDMC Zafar Iqbal Sarwar said that not only the Federal Government but also the Government of Punjab interested for the early completion of development and construction works in Allama Iqbal Industrial City.
Work has also started on pending projects in Value Edition City, M3 Industrial City and Allama Iqbal Industrial City. He said that Alhamdulillah 2 grid stations have been approved and at the same time the hurdles regarding gas project have been removed.
