Robbers shot at and killed a salesman of a local bakery for putting up resistance in the jurisdiction of Saddar Faisalabad police station. According to police, Habib Ahmad (40) resident of Chak No 28-GB was riding a motorcycle when two bandits intercepted him near Khannuana police post at Chak No 239-RB and deprived him Rs 5,000 and gold chain at gunpoint.
The dacoits also shot at and injured Habib when he resisted their attempt to snatch valuables from him. The injured was rushed to hospital where he succumbed to the injuries. Police are investigating the case.
