Teachers Association of Federal Urdu University of Science, Arts and Technology (FUUAST) have announced to stage a protest rally on unnecessary delay in appointment of Vice Chancellor and meddling of Higher Education Commission Chairman Dr Javaid Laghari.
The senate meeting, which had earlier sent three names to the President for vice chancellor's appointment on July 29, will have to meet again on Saturday (today) to review the situation created after interference of Dr Javaid Laghari. Dr Leghari had questioned the competency of all three candidates who were earlier proposed by a committee headed by none other than himself.
