The educational institutions working under the Federal Directorate of Education reopened on Monday after over two-month long summer vacation, which was extended due to the holy month of Ramazan and Eid-ul-Fitr holidays. The vacation, which started on June 16, ended on August 26 as the students resumed their studies on August 27 after enjoying the summer season with their families and relatives.
Ali Rahmat, a student of class VI at the Federal Government Model School for Boys F-6/2, said he spent the vacation in his native town Gilgit, where he enjoyed the weather with his family and relatives. He said that he shared his experiences with his classmates where the teacher asked the students about how they spent the holidays.
