KARACHI: On Friday, at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 19.962 billion and the number of lots traded 16,958.
Major business was contributed by NSDQ 100 amounting to PKR 5.072 billion, followed by Gold (PKR 4.782 billion), Currencies through COTS (PKR 3.237 billion), Crude Oil (PKR 2.476 billion), DJ (PKR 1.682 billion), Platinum (PKR 799.899 million), SP 500 (PKR 636.414 million), Silver (PKR 599.999 million), Copper (PKR 545.724 million), Natural Gas (PKR 106.075 million) and Japan Equity (PKR 23.722 million). In Agricultural Commodities, 2 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 2.197 million were traded.
