KARACHI: On Tuesday, at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 29.322 billion and the number of lots traded 18,918.
Major business was contributed by NSDQ 100 amounting to PKR 14.842 billion, followed by Gold (PKR 4.259 billion), DJ (PKR 3.196 billion), Currencies through COTS (PKR 2.277 billion), Crude Oil (PKR 2.164 billion), Silver (PKR 762.031 million), Platinum (PKR 552.722 billion), SP 500 (PKR 492.975 million), Natural Gas (PKR 340.358 million), Copper (PKR 293.020 million) and Japan Equity (PKR 140.951 million). In Agricultural Commodities, 3 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 3.177 million were traded.
