KARACHI: President of Korangi Association of Trade and Industry (KATI) Salman Aslam has expressed concern over the re-listing of Pakistan in the grey list by the Financial Action Task Force (FATF).
Salman Aslam said FATF decision was disappointing as it was expected that Pakistan would be removed from the grey list this time.
KATI president said Pakistan has proved that it is sincere in this matter by fully implementing 26 out of 27 conditions. The conditions that Pakistan has complied with could not be met by other countries.
He said anti-national elements were active and conspiring to harm Pakistan, therefore, issues related to the grey list needed to be resolved effectively.
Salman Aslam further said industrialists and exporters stand by the government as Pakistani ambassadors against this conspiracy at the international level and will show patriotism on international platforms and raise their voice in favour of Pakistan.
