A high-level meeting of the office-bearers and workers of Pakistan People's Party district Ghotki was held here at the Chief Minister's House on Sunday.
Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah and MNA Faryal Talpur co-chaired the meeting, a press release said. The meeting was also attended by Provincial Local Government Minister Agha Siraj Durrani, Sindh Minister for Irrigation Jam Saifullah Dharejo, Sindh Minister for Law and Jails Muhammad Ayaz Soomro, Jam Ikramullah Dharejo, Qadir Bux Kalwar, Nizamddin Rajori, Abdul Razzaq Mehar, Abdul Latif Shah, Agha Nazakat, Abdul Rasheed Bhutto, Sikandar Lakho, Syed Imtiaz Shah, Deewan Lal, Siddique Abu Bhai.
The meeting discussed overall political situation in district Ghotki. The office-bearers and workers of the district said that Ghotki had always remained a fort of the PPP, and it would again prove the same in next general election.
The party workers assured the leadership that they would fully devote their energies for furtherance of the party's programme and would foil any negative attempt of the opposition.-PR
