The Deputy Director Fisheries Hyderabad has disclosed that Government of Sindh has abolished the lease/contract system from the public water areas and introduced licenses for fishermen in whole Sindh province.
In his press statement available to this office, the Deputy Director Fisheries Hyderabad has further said that due to this act of government the fishermen who got licenses in the last year are required to get their licenses renewed and those who have not got license should get license from the Office of Deputy Director Fisheries of concerned district for the year 2012-13. He also warned that in case any person is found without fishing license, necessary legal action would be taken against him.
