Chief Secretary, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Ghulam Dastagir Akhtar has directed all the administrative departments and organisations of the province to give preferential treatment to the children and family members of the personnel of armed forces, frontier corps, frontier constabulary and police etc and facilitate them to the maximum in all their affairs relating to their respective departments.
According to the directives issued by the Chief Secretary Office on the eve of Pakistan Defence Day on Thursday, a Special Cell has also been established in the Home Department which will act as a focal body to ensure that the family members of Shuhada were provided maximum relief. The Cell will submit quarterly report to the Chief Secretary Office giving details about the disposal of all cases of the Shuhadas' family.
