Samsung’s president confirms rumors about its foldable phone
Samsung’s foldable phone, reportedly called Galaxy X, has been rumored for a long time now but no one knew if it would turn to reality or not. However, Samsung’s president has accepted that the company is working on a foldable phone but did not confirm the name or the release date.
In a recent interview conducted at the MWC 2018 with CNET, Samsung’s mobile president DJ Koh said that the firm is indeed making progress on its foldable phones, which is rumored to be called as Galaxy X. He also said that when the time comes to show off the device, Koh will be open about it.
Assuring that the foldable phone is not a gimmick, the president validated that Samsung is though making progress in the device but he still needs ‘complete confidence that we’re delivering the best user experience when we’re launching a new category’.
