In a severe weather advisory here on Friday, Meteorological department said that heavy rains would cause urban/flash floods in D.G. Khan, Bahawalpur, Multan, D.I. Khan, Kohat, Bannu, Sukkur, Larkana, Zhob, Sibbi and Nasirabad on Saturday and Sunday.
It said strong monsoon currents would penetrate in central parts of Pakistan on Saturday/Sunday, producing widespread Monsoon Rains over there. Heavy rains would generate flash floods in the vulnerable areas of Southern Punjab, Upper Sindh, Lower KP and Northeast Balochistan during the period.
Islamabad/Punjab Widespread Rain/Thunder-showers with scattered heavy rain falls expected in southern Punjab on Saturday/Sunday. Heavy rains would cause urban and flash floods in the vulnerable areas of D.G Khan, Multan and Bahawalpur divisions during the period. Scattered Rain/Thunder-showers expected over upper Punjab/Islamabad on Saturday/ Sunday.
Sindh Widespread Rain/Thunder-showers with scattered heavy falls expected over upper Sindh on Saturday/Sunday. Heavy rains may cause urban flooding in Sukkar and Larkana divisions during the period. Scattered Rain/Thunder-showers with isolated heavy falls expected in Lower Sindh on Saturday/Sunday.
Balochistan Widespread Rain/Thunder-showers with isolated heavy falls expected in north-eastern parts of Balochistan on Saturday/Sunday. Heavy rains would cause flash floods in Zhob, Sibbi and Nasirabad divisions during the period. Scattered Rain/Thunder-showers expected over Kalat and Quetta divisions on Saturday/Sunday.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Widespread Rain/Thunders-howers with scattered heavy falls expected in Lower parts of KP on Saturday/Sunday. Heavy rains would cause flash floods in Kohat, Bannu and D.I Khan divisions during the period Scattered Rain/Thundershowers with isolated heavy falls expected over upper KP on Saturday/Sunday.
Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan Scattered Rain/Thunder-showers expected in Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan on Saturday/Sunday.
