Imad Wasim believes Shahid Afridi is an inspiration for all
Pakistan former captain Shahid Afridi may have bid adieu to international cricket but still got the skills and ability to make and change the game.
The veteran has been a major player in the success of franchise Karachi Kings, which remains to lose a game in the tournament so far. Kings captain Imad Wasim applauded Afridi for his commitment towards the game, calling him an ‘inspiration’ for the future players.
“I think all credit goes to Afridi, the way he has gelled in with the Kings squad,” said Wasim, quoted local media.
With impressive bowling display and a stunning catch under his belt Afridi has already grabbed the moments along with a Man of the Match award against archrivals Lahore Qalandars, in the ongoing Pakistan Super League, which has not even finished a week.
“Looking at Afridi, his bowling and fielding, I believe the way he performs and the efforts he put in this age, he is an inspiration for the youngsters,” added Wasim.
The Karachi Kings would play their fourth game against Multan Sultans on March 2 in Sharjah.
