Spokesman of Pakistan Muslim League-N, Senator Pervaiz Rashid has termed the talk of MQM chief Altaf Hussain against Nawaz Sharif and PML-N as unbecoming. For this meeting, Altaf Hussain himself requested PML-N. Senator Pervaiz Rashid said that it is a declared opinion of PML-N that it is the need of the hour to forge better relationship between political parties instead of promoting confrontation and bitterness in order to combat the serious internal and external issues facing the country.
He said that balance and forbearance is also essential during the election campaign for peaceful political atmosphere as elections are not far off. He said PML-N had met the delegation of MQM, despite some reservations. However, hardly the ink had dried over the conciliatory invitation by Altaf Hussain, when yesterday we received a message of recrimination. He said, "we are wonder struck as to believe which aspect of Quaid-e-Tehreek" Answering about the accusation of becoming Amir-ul-Momineen against Nawaz Shairf, Senator Pervaiz Rashid said that Nawaz Sharif has been twice elected prime minister of the country. He has himself participated in all elections, except of those elections where he was forcibly stopped to participate.
He said that Nawaz Sharif does not believe in ancestral politics but strongly believes in democratic principles. Senator Perviaz Rashid that the green passport of Pakistan is the biggest asset of Nawaz Sharif, who was ex-communicated from the country twice, but he always came back to practise politics inside the country, despite all fears and dangers.
He said the stance of PML-N on recent Sindh Local Government Ordinance is based on principles and there is no need to be angry over it as PML-N has, like other political parties equal right to form his opinion. Senator Pervaiz Rashid said that in the presence of assemblies, legislating through ordinance or imposing decision from above are against the spirit of democracy.
