Anti-Car Lifting Cell (ACLC) on Monday claimed to have arrested some nine car-lifters in separate raids at various parts of the metropolis, here on Monday. According to police, the accused persons, who were arrested from New Karachi, Bin Qasim and other parts of the city, were identified as Muhammad Faisal, Nasir Khan, Sohail Ahmad Khan, Ali Muhammad alias Ali, Hakim Ali, Saqlain Ahmad, Ramazan Soomro, Mirza Nasir Baig and Niaz Ahmad.
ACLC official said the accused Ali Muhammad associated with notorious car-lifter group (Magsi) while rest of the others were low profile criminals. He said the team of ACLC also recovered six vehicles and five bikes from their possession.
