University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS), Lahore and Sarghodha Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) inked a memorandum of understanding to strengthen industry and academia relationship in the light of advanced research. The MoU was signed by UVAS Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Talat Naseer Pasha SCCI president Mazhar Ahmad Malik at syndicate room on Monday.
The primary purpose of this Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) is to engage both institutes in collaborative and co-operative efforts for the development of innovative and research development avenues to educate the entrepreneurs in livestock allied industries. The agreement intends to bring the university and the chamber on a platform to co-ordinate efforts, work together and jointly contribute to dairy development. The UVAS Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Talat Naseer Pasha said that "livestock sector has faced tremendous challenges but we have to deal out with the collaboration of livestock departments and academia research.
