LAHORE: Moonis Elahi, son of former Punjab chief minister Chaudhry Pervez Elahi, on Wednesday appeared before the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) in an inquiry related to offshore companies.

According to NAB spokesman, the PML-Q leader remained at the NAB regional headquarters for more then an hour and answered various queries of the combined investigation team.

It is pertinent to mention here that it was second time that Moonis Elahi appeared before the NAB. Earlier, he appeared before NAB on January 30 along with his financial records.

The NAB has initiated inquiries against politicians whose names had appeared in the Panama Papers.
