The Lahore High Court on Friday rejected the plea of issuing a stay order against factories in residential areas and sought a reply from the Punjab government and others till October 10, in a petition seeking action against factories established in the residential areas.
Pakistan Mazdoor Mahaz through Ishtiaq Chaudhry stated that countless factories and industries have been functioning in the residential localities in connivance with the authorities concerned. The counsel said that these factories had been established illegally but the government had failed to take any action against them.
