Liu Jian, Ambassador of the People's Republic of China on Thursday called on the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Malik Ahmad Khan to convey condolences on behalf of the Government and the people of the Republic of China upon the unfortunate fire incidents in Karachi and Lahore.
He conveyed that it was a great tragedy and as a token of sympathy he presented cheques worth Rs 3 million on behalf of the Chinese Government for the families of victims. The Minister of State expressed gratitude to the Chinese Ambassador for condolences on these tragic incidents as well as for financial assistance for the families of victims.-PR
