SINGAPORE: Asia’s cash premium for 0.5% very low sulphur fuel oil (VLSFO) eased to a five-week low on Tuesday as ample incoming supplies for November continued to weigh on the market.

Arbitrage fuel oil barrels to wider East Asia are slated to exceed 2 million tonnes just like the past two months, Refinitiv ship-tracking data showed on Tuesday.

This continues to be higher than the year-to-date monthly average volume of 1.9 million tonnes for barrels from the West to East Asia.
