Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board Zaka Ashraf said that Pakistan Cricket Board is striving and talks are in progress with two or three other countries for playing cricket in Pakistan. Talking to a private news channel, he said that we have taken control of Mirpur Stadium of Azad Kashmir so that an international team can play in ICC-approved grounds.
Moreover, "I share your concern that all the Pakistani cricket grounds built at huge costs are wearing a deserted look," he added. Zaka Ashraf said that immediately after assuming the charge of the office of the Chairman, I established a Vigilance Division in the PCB.
He said "I will create Security and Anti-Corruption units". To a question, the Chairman said that strict measures will be taken not only in domestic cricket but also in international cricket to remove the stigma of corruption. He said PCB will try to bring the international cricket into Pakistan and Bangladesh team had been convinced to play in Pakistan and it was coming to Pakistan but when we talked to the Punjab government for the security of the team they expressed their inability, therefore, the BD team stayed back although they had completed all formalities, he added.
